This is a great card to get if you are trying to keep Amex Membership Points alive and want to avoid some high annual fees that come with other cards. You earn 2x points at US supermarkets up to $6,000 per year in purchases (then 1x) and earn 1x on other purchases. Perks include getting 20% more points when you make 20 or more purchases in a billing period (less returns and credits). Points are transferrable to many airline programs.
Note: there are new card family rules on the terms of this application. You may not be eligible to receive the welcome offer on the Amex EveryDay card if you have or have had the Amex EveryDay Preferred Credit Card. Read full terms. Lastly, Amex says it will let you know if you are not eligible before applying.
